In the case of the 9/11 massacre there is no record of a criminal investigation having taken place. The 9/11 Commission had terms of reference which precluded investigation of who initiated and undertook the attacks. The FBI has declared that Osama bin Laden is not wanted for these attacks as there is not enough evidence against him. However the US government and the United Nations deemed there was enough evidence to start a war against Al Qaeda in Afghanistan, which continues to this day under the auspices of President Obama who has curiously been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

Now the chair and vice-chair of the 9/11 Commission, Kean and Hamilton, have declared their investigation was “fatally flawed” and have accused the Pentagon and other government agencies of lying to them.

Former British Foreign Secretary, Robin Cook, wrote on 8th July 2005 that Al Qaeda was the name of a CIA database of their Mujahideen operatives in Afghanistan. The UK government was however spared the embarrassment of having to explain this contradiction when a month later God intervened and Mr Cook suffered a fatal heart attack while out walking.
