Glenn Beck Hates 911 victims families

Glenn Beck: “I didn’t think I could hate victims faster than the 9-11 victims”

While conservative broadcaster Glenn Beck is holding his rally on the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC, the same location where  Martin Luther King Jr. gave his historic “I have a dream” speech, and on the anniversary date of this speech, it is important for us to remind our readers of what Glenn Beck has said regarding the 9-11 victims and their families.

This is an audio excerpt from Beck’s radio show which aired on September 9, 2005 in which he also rants against the survivors of Hurricane Katrina.

“You know it took me about a year to start hating the 9-11 victims’ families? Took me about a year. [...]  And when I see a 9-11 victim family on television, or whatever, I’m just like, “Oh shut up!” I’m so sick of them because they’re always complaining. And we did our best for them.”

Glenn Beck is not Martin Luther King Jr.

Liberal Bull shit website taking a quote out of context as usual. The part that is dotted out that this site so happened to leave out? Is Beck saying he hate’s about TEN of the 3000 familyies because they go on these news channels and give this ohh poor me sad soppy story like they are the only family in the world to ever lose a close member and it desensitizes the rest of us to the true horror of 9/11. Can’t stand websites like this

Nine years later we are still dissecting and guessing and sadly , trying to figure out how our government could be caught with it’s pants down. We as a people suffered incredible loss. Also as a people our pride was shaken. Especially right after 9/11 those were mixed up in our responses. His was just recorded in infamy.

everytime i think i have heard it all, i hear or read sopmething like this. this guy is a complte and total ASSHOLE!!! and i am sure he didnt loose a loved one during this devistating event. if anyone has any right to complain, it would be the families of these innocent victims. it sickens me as a person, a new yorker and an AMERICAN that anyone could be that ignorant and insensitive toward such a tragedy

  • Mike

Is it possible that Glen Beck is a parody of extreme right wing journalists such as Steven Colbert, only missing the intellect? ;)

I watch Glenn Beck every day. I listen to him on the radio almost every day. I am black and above all I’m an American. I watched the 9/28 event. Glenn Beck is not trying to be Martin Luther King, Jr. no more than Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton. Dr. King was a great man. Let him rest in peace and stop using him to sell an agenda, merchandise and above all prejudice. In this case I am speaking about hatred for whites. Glenn Beck is right. I know prejudiced black people, Mexicans etc. that hate whites and especially Jews. This is not what Dr. King stood for and neither is the hatred that Rev. Wright espoused while Pres. Obama went to that church.

I don’t know these people, but your associations tell a lot about you and black muslims and those who follow the teachings of Rev. Wright (Black Liberation Theology) are prejudice. So, Glenn Beck told the truth in his opinion. What more can you ask for other than the truth, when the facts are there hitting you in the face. So many of you on here bashing Glenn Beck have either never heard him personally or you’re a liar trying to spread your lying bullsh*t to others. Next time tell the truth or shut the hell up.

Beck is the scumbag, not the the victims of 9/11 or Katrina. He makes me want to puke! I am frightened for America that he has so many fans! He’s the one who needs to stop whining and shut up!

  • Shadowsmgc

This is a contrived presentation. It’s “not” showing what Glenn Says, or believes in. No one can hate the 911 victims. We can hate the whiney ones, and the selfish attitudes, of people who’re family members of victims.
I won’t believe that Glenn says, or believes these things until I hear, and see, clearly, that he’s said it, in his own voice.
The video is a doctored fake.
Who is Robert Grenwald, and what’s his interest in this story?

This is the only way this idiot can get himself noticed… by feeble attempts at attacking those who cannot defend themselves

  • chelseabells

    This guy is evil personified.

When I’m not gettin’ loaded or screwin’ up the economy I really enjoy hating Beck because he does a much better job than I do of pissing people off.

  • Concerned American99

Bottom line is that none of you complacent wannabees are going to change anything. Amazing how all sides will keep bitching and bitching and they dont even know what the hell is going on in ANY of their communities. Go back to watching whatever CSI show and people magazine you been watching/reading and STFU!

    Hello folks
I am a Norwegian man who reads this page regularly.
Can someone please enlighten me how this maniac still can have his job?
    Does he have many viewers?
How much infuence does he have?

    • JF Ranger

Tom, he has the 3rd most listened to radio show in the US and is a Fox News anchor, one of the big shows they have… he reached up to 3.4 million viewers but recently dropped by 50%. He also published 3 books which all became #1 New York Times bestsellers.

Beck rules as the summer of recovery and obamao fade into well-deserved oblivion …

  • Robin

Will if he hates those who do not shut up then he must hte himself.

  • Alan Foos

Maybe not the most clever sentiment, and Mr. Beck isn’t the best beacon to be leading America out of the quagmire, but he beats everybody who has a residence in DC as far as I know, especially given the obvious that the intelligence agencies were as much behind 911 as any Arabs.

  • ThrowThemOut

Try listening to the FULL excerpt: Didn’t someone in the Administration recently get fired because some dumbass took her words out of context?

    • JF Ranger

To those who think we’ve taken Beck’s words out of context, think about this: Glenn Beck started to hate the 9/11 victims faster than any other victims. His words. Regarding the “he hates the 9/11 family members”, we are very aware that he points out “about 10 of them, not all” after he rants against “the 9/11 family members”. That’s in the video we have posted and we have read the transcript of his full speech to make sure it was not out of context. He hates those who “complain”, those who don’t “shut up”. By association he implies that he hates all 9/11 family members who would dare still ask questions. And that implies much more than 10 even if he tries to limit the consequences of this hate speech with a random small number (one of his favorite techniques after demonizing a group of people).

We had to remind people of this hate speech. The 9/11 families who have lost loved ones in these towers or during the rescue efforts and who still question the official conspiracy theory (there are a lot more than 10) will not shut up and will demand real answers until we get them. Whether Glenn likes it or not.

What a sack of shit you are Glenn Beck!!!

  • Isabel

  • JenK

I was in absolute horrific shock when I heard Glenn say this. This man needs to be sacked!

  • Alfred

It is too bad that people will distort statements. Beck is clear in stating that it is about 10 out of the many thousands that he is speaking about. Could you please comment on why he was upset at those 10? That would be balanced and not come off as bashing. Also, why make a statement that Beck is not King Jr? Are you saying that manyone who strongly makes tribute to someone else is trying to be them? Your headlines seem very missleading and even childish. What are your intentions in making these headline statements? And why are you not doing the same for other controversial people like Oberman?

  • anonymous

Hey Glenn, let me explain you why people of New Orleans are “complaining” the most even if this area is only 1% of Katrina devastated area.

New Orleans is under sea level and when levees fail, there was water up to their roof with hurricane strength winds. The other 99% of the area got a lot of damage but was ABOVE sea level and were not as flooded.

But there is one point I agree with you; I also hate people who are complaining and whining without reason. 911 and Katrina victims are not. YOU however, are on the top of the list…
