Public Challenge to Stephen Colbert, host of Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report.
Dear Stephen,
I am publicly challenging you, sir, to invite Mr. Richard Gage, AIA onto your show for an interview.
Mr. Gage is a member of the American Institute of Architects and founder of the “Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth” organization. Over 1,100 professional architects and engineers support his call for a new 9/11 investigation. He is also supported by NYCCAN, the coalition of family members, survivors, first responders and others as well as the Jersey girls, who are in big part responsible for the creation of the first investigation.
To learn more about the man, you can watch his presentation “9/11 Blueprint for Truth: The Architecture of Destruction”, the most popular documentary on our website.
Now, to be clear, I am not asking for your support. You can make that personal choice another day.
My challenge for you is to invite Mr. Gage to a fair interview with you on your show.
One of my close friends doesn’t think you are man enough to accept this challenge. He literally said “Stephen Colbert is too much of a pussy to have someone like Richard Gage or David Ray Griffin on his show” to which I replied “I will give the man a chance to prove you wrong.”
I’m a fan of your show and your sense of humor Stephen, and I didn’t think it was fair for my friend to judge you like that without giving you a chance to prove him wrong.
So here it is. Your chance to prove my friend — and all the others who think you don’t have what it takes to take on this challenge — forever wrong.
Be the host you wish to see.
JF Ranger
Founder of World911Truth.org
P.S. Stephen, we will publicly challenge you until you publicly accept or decline the challenge.

that is the dumbest thing i’ve ever read. you’re calling on him to give you an interview because you’re friend described him as a pussy?
I bet he’s quaking in his finely polished shoes
March 14th, 2010 at 8:46 am
This would be a much better campaign if it had some organization. There is not even a form or anything. The posts are going to be slit up to much and have little impact.
March 14th, 2010 at 1:08 pm
“Fair interview”? Stephen Colbert doesn’t give “fair interviews”. It’s not the point of the show. It’s not a place to adequately get your points across, in a very complex issue. There simply isn’t enough time. The Daily Show might be a more appropriate venue.
March 14th, 2010 at 1:27 pm
Trot, we use satire, Colbert’s own language, to talk to his egomaniac character and challenge him. Our goal is not to threaten him but to get his attention.
March 14th, 2010 at 1:42 pm
I like the use of humor! That’s very funny, and I think he’ll appreciate it.
March 14th, 2010 at 1:48 pm
P.S. I can’t get it to post on facebook, though the number went up to 142 when I clicked on the button.
March 14th, 2010 at 4:17 pm
If he does, he will loose his job.
March 14th, 2010 at 4:40 pm
Stephen, show us what you’ve got!!
March 14th, 2010 at 6:37 pm
JF, did you ask Mr. Gage about this before volunteering him to face the world’s reigning genius of ridicule?
March 14th, 2010 at 7:40 pm
Brian,
1- Stephen is definitely a brilliant man who masters satire like no one else.
2- Richard Gage is even more brilliant. Stephen cannot nail him down. That would be one of Colbert’s best interview ever.
March 14th, 2010 at 10:33 pm
Stephen Colbert blew it by asking sarcastically of Sam Farmer if there were any conspiracy theories in his book on 9/11. He can redeem himself by putting Richard Gage on the show!
March 14th, 2010 at 11:10 pm
If we’re going to start a campaign trying to get 9-11 truth on The Colbert Report, then we should do it with somebody better than Richard Gage (and I say that as somebody who has absolutely no problem with Richard Gage). If we’re going to get 9-11 Truth on Colbert, then the guests we should be pushing are Nafeez Ahmed, Cynthia McKinney, Michael C. Ruppert, or Jon Gold. These are all people capable of talking about 9-11 in great detail, beyond the theory of controlled demolition. There is no tougher interviewer than Stephen Colbert, and if we want to get him on the side of the 9-11 truth movement, we’re going to need to prepare the best possible people for the task.
Controlled demolition is only one small part of the truth movement, many don’t care about it, and as we’ve all seen, the media is already very good at blowing past it.
In addition to this, the nano-thermite paper was NOT published in a peer-reviewed journal, it was published in a journal called Bentham, which will publish literally anything as long as you pay money for it. They once accepted an article intensionally written in gibberish. http://www.libraryjournal.com/article/CA6664637.html
If the 9-11 truth movement goes on Colbert with nothing but the controlled demolition theory, 9-11 truth will loose, harshly and hilariously.
Michael Ruppert
Nafeez Ahmed
Cynthia McKinney
Jon Gold
If people are serious about 9-11 truth, hat’s who we should be trying to get on his show.
March 14th, 2010 at 11:29 pm
That would be just an awesome interview… provided that Stephen Colbert is not a pussy
March 14th, 2010 at 11:37 pm
Dean, I think Richard Gage is one of the most credible people out there because he comes with 1,100+ a/e supporting him and he can’t be nailed down. That’s my opinion of course. Also, Michael Ruppert sadly wrote a note that he wasn’t part of the 9/11 truth movement in any way anymore, when he release the movie “Collapse” (great documentary BTW). I think he got afraid or something…
March 14th, 2010 at 11:54 pm
And again, I have no problem with Gage, at all. I just think there’s more that can be worked with than CD.
March 15th, 2010 at 12:07 am
@Jf Ranger – Actually, Ruppert wrote recently that he wants to do interviews again. http://mikeruppert.blogspot.com/2010/02/screw-retirement-im-back.html And while he has distanced himself from the 9-11 Truth movement, he has said that he is still willing to discuss 9-11 and the case he made for it in Crossing the Rubicon. So I think it’s more about distancing himself from no-planers and holocaust deniers than not wanting to talk about 9-11 itself.
I like Richard Gage and he would definitely do well on the show. I’m definitely not against him being on Colbert and would completely support it. But I think there are others who would do better because they could expand the subject further, and if there’s going to be an activist movement to get people on the show, I think people should try for them as well.
Ray McGovern and Paul Craig Roberts should be on the list as well.
March 15th, 2010 at 12:51 am
richard gage is the king of 911 truth–
the same bunch that is trying to talk people into doing psuedo illegal protest activities like blocking traffic, and vaguely confrontational old school tactics—are the same ones who are against ‘controlled demolition’smoking guns being discussed
the cass sunstein crew is entering 911blogger to try to infiltrate the rising tides
get ready for lots of people to try to suggest ideas to get people in trouble
we dont need civil disruption–or intentionally trying to cause gridlock
the old protest paradigms are collapsing—-
\\911 truth is the grand titanic mountain—pure and strong–shining to the spirits of good people
March 15th, 2010 at 10:57 am
The story has included enormous information
March 15th, 2010 at 11:22 am
How about a campaign to throw Colbert and everyone else on TV into jail for life for being the lowlife criminals they are? Now there’s a challenge I could get behind.
Attempting to reform subhuman sociopaths like Colbert is a total waste of time. The fact that he is in the position that he is in is plenty enough evidence to prove that he’s a criminal intent on continuing the rape, torture, and murder of innocent people around the globe.
If you honestly believe that petitioning members of the MSM – people get get paid cold hard cash by the scummiest filth on the planet – is worthy of your time, you have a long, long way to go before you understand how this systems works.
March 15th, 2010 at 1:53 pm
Dear Ranger: surely, you are aware that Colbert wouldn’t be successful, “up there”- unless he was in “Their Club”, aren’t you?
The Elite wouldn’t hv allowed him to rise so far, unless they were “glove and hand”- i.e. members of the Masons / Freemasons.
Ask him, ask Colbert whether he’s a Member?
Didn’t you get the clue when Colbert did the comedy sketch in the Presidential Press Conference?
It was a JOKE! It was a great big show for the “peasants”!
March 15th, 2010 at 3:11 pm
Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart do not choose their guests. It is the network that acts as gatekeeper for people who appear on their shows. Hence, the parade of war criminals that continue to appear on Jon Stewart pimping the books that they did not write, and which no one will read, and for which they receive 7-figure advances, as a form of laundering money to them as their reward for service.
You’ll never see Michael Parenti, Medea Benjamin, Cynthia McKinney, Richard Gage or David Ray Griffin on either of those shows. They won’t get past the gatekeepers.
March 15th, 2010 at 6:27 pm
Gents
You will not be furthering the truth and the cause by suggesting to make this a satirical topic on the Colbert show. Colbert is an extension of the media and therefore is an extension of the evil which prevents the 911 Truth movement from gaining traction in the mainstream population. These regional press conferences and additional raising of capital to develop an investigative program which proves the reasons to open an investigation and refutes the very weak responses by Popular Mechanics or Popular Science is is probably the way to go. BTW,what ever happened to Jesse Ventura’s Tru TV shows. These programs were gaining a lot of popularity in just a couple of weeks. I wonder who paid him a visit.

“I like the use of humor! That’s very funny, and I think he’ll appreciate it.”
I think the letter will go straight in the bin.
March 16th, 2010 at 1:22 am
JF, reading your letter to Colbert made me physically wince. My dad is a licensed architect, you’ll find his name on the petition. I’m sure he winced in a similar fashion when somebody apparently representing ae911truth called him looking for a donation and telling him the republicans were going to have us all murdered once they got back into office. “I thought these guys were serious” my dad told me. I’m the one that talked him into signing the petition in the first place. I stand by it still, but seriously, you guys have over 1,100 professional architects and engineers behind you. You have chemical evidence, you have the laws of physics, you have molten steel, and you just wrote Steven Colbert to tell him he’s a pussy? Please consider the working professionals like my dad who actually put his name on this damn thing.
March 16th, 2010 at 3:32 am
Dane, I don’t know who called your dad and on what drug he was. AE911Truth is clearly the most professional 9/11 truth organization. Never doubt that.
I can answer your comment about my letter only. As I have mentioned above in another comment, we, at world911truth.org (ae911truth has nothing to do with the challenge), have decided to use satire. Satire is the very language that the Stephen Colbert character, the egomaniac and volatile false news anchor uses in the Colbert Report (he would call himself just that). He has called people so many names it would be impossible to list them all here. He does that in a very funny way and I wouldn’t want him to change one bit. I am absolutely confident that Colbert won’t be hurt by this letter. All to the contrary.
It’s true that some people didn’t understand the nature of our call to Colbert, but most did. And trust me, if Colbert wants someone on his show, he won’t hesitate to challenge him this way if he thinks about it. We’re speaking his language and now the ball is in his court. Had we been very serious, we wouldn’t have had 10% of the reactions this challenge has created so far. I hope this clarifies our intention. I invite you to watch Colbert’s show to understand who he really is.
When Richard Gage goes on The Colbert Report, he will do justice to the 1,100+ professionals supporting him and Colbert will do justice to himself and to a huge portion of his “nation” by showing us all that he isn’t afraid to invite someone like Mr. Gage onto his show.

If anyone wants to ask an awkward question which challenges the officially endorsed conspiracy yarn of 9/11, there are hundreds from which to choose. However, out of all the impossibilities and bizarreness presented as factual by the media and powers-that-be, there is one truly illogical aspect about their story which always (in my observations) caused any believer in the official story to either blow fuses or rendered unable to comment. I have asked this of numerous people and the usual reaction is either the obligatory ad hominem, or a blank stare. It’s a very obvious question, but not asked enough (imho):
Background: According to the official explanation, al Qaeda personnel spent a long time, perhaps several years, planning the operation to simultaneously hijack several commercial airliners and slam them into national landmarks in broad daylight. The four landmarks chosen were the Pentagon, both World Trade Center towers and one other, possibly the Capitol or the White House. All these targets are on the East Coast, in the middle of the most heavily secured and strictly monitored air space on the planet. This part of the country is also home to numerous US Air Force and Air National Guard bases over (or near) which the hijackers would have to take their commandeered flights to reach their targets. Since, according to the government, the operation was “meticulously planned down to the last detail”, the big “fly in the ointment” regarding the hijackers’ ultimate success or failure would have been their acute awareness that the US air force had a 100% track record in promptly and effectively challenging flights which had gone astray, averaging one interception every 5 days. The hijackers thus would have *known* very well, that to hit their targets before the USAF arrived, they would have to hijack each plane very close to the target, and fly straight there at maximum speed… that is, if the air defenses functioned at their unblemished efficiency.
So, what did the alleged hijackers do? In all four instances on 9/11, they flew long and roundabout routes to reach their targets once the planes were under their control. In the cases of Flights UA93 and AA77, they took their planes as far as the Ohio and Kentucky borders, then turned back and traversed heavily monitored and policed airspace for lengthy periods of time. In all four alleged hijacking events, if normal interception procedures had been followed, the planes would not have reached their targets unchallenged.
My question is not so much “why were the flights not challenged?”, but rather this: (A) “Why did the alleged hijackers elect to fly long and indirect routes to their eventual targets… a tactic which they knew would have guaranteed that the failure of their missions? ….and by extension: (B) How did they know that they would not be challenged according to normal procedure?
March 17th, 2010 at 12:45 pm
While we are at it, I’d like to challenge the makers of “Fight Club” to create a sequel.
A sequel where a myth of a 100% lame group of “a bunch of regular dudes who were pissed off at capitalism brought buildings down” is created to program assent to a FUTURE myth.
The future myth being that the mythical “al qaeda” brought down the towers, rather than a tightly coordinated, state-sponsored Fifth Column that happens to also have total control over Comedy Central and Hollywood movies and CNN as well as the rest of the news shills.
Stephen Colbert is a tragic case: TALENT, in capitalism, is sold to the HIGHEST BIDDER. Which in this case are the massive moneybags of a nation that OUGHT to be GRATEFUL to the USA, but instead sees the USA as a “force multiplier” for its own Nefarious Interests.
The USA is PWNED. There is a nation – actually, they are a good people in general, but their crust of evil leaders is who I am referring to – that has surrounded the institutions of American democracy and American mass media (along with obvious inroads into the other branches of government etc). This nation has a LONG TRADITION of BEING CAUGHT SPYING HERE in the USA.
March 17th, 2010 at 4:15 pm
Fear sells. Engineer a catastrophic event, example 9/11 WTC, call it National Security – immunity from court liability and presto, new evil empire to fund some 3 trillion dollars in costs paid by US taxpayer to bring down the US citizens rights, freedoms and dollar. Bush ordered D.Rumsfield to give D.Cheney power over NORAD 3 months prior to 9/11. Not before or since did NORAD completely fail to respond, then the prewritten Patriot Act to strip us of Constitutional rights, spy on us, and take taxpayer money to pay for no bid oilfield billion dollar contracts. The defense industry gets lots of money as a result. The right to travel becomes a privilege subject to warrant less search, no matter by air or car. You can now be held without charges, indefinitely. Is this Constitutional, if it isn’t would this not be treason?’ And now voting is paperless, without a paper trail. What gets in power, stays in power. Did the last presidential election keep any promises? You decide.
The message is clear, We are under attack, but by who? And for what? Follow the money trail, the debt, the money supply, where and to who does it lead from whom and how? Who made out like bandits?
Rhetoric and reality are NOT the same. 9/11 was a violent overthrow of our rights, our way of life. It showed us the value of our life. At core, tax money was taken, lives were taken, jobs were taken, rights were taken. The implications, one should look at the common sense implications, perhaps in a way Thomas Paine did in the American Revolution. Is your life so much better? And what of the future? When a real estate mortgage is more like an installment sale contract, you pay for 10 years, then loose it all. Who got the value of your labor, your life, your time in all of this? Where is the security in this? So who owns you as the purchasing power of your labor sinks? Are you homeless yet? Have you been excluded from work? Did your job become an export? Why is the money being printed in such huge quantities but distributed to banks, even foreign banks without any consent of the governed?
“Hey, what’s that sound? Everybody look what’s going down?”
March 21st, 2010 at 11:42 pm
Stephen Colbert is a mainstraem media, full propaganda supporting piece of S?%$. When I watch him on TeeVee, It makes me wanna reach trough the screen, grab that stack a dimes for a neck and make his head sound like a sixty year aged bottle of wine opening!!
As for Dean, what other stuff can you bring to the table other than controlled demo?, Missles? DEW, Space Beams,No Planes,Mini Nukes! These of course are errounious statments. If you think that these are options that are going to convince the public that we, truthers, are right and the government is wrong, opposes to CD,your wrong.
