Regardless of who or what was responsible for the destruction of the twin towers, due to the fact that skyscrapers must hold themselves up, physicists and other scientists should have been demanding to know how the steel and concrete were distributed down the buildings.  Don't astronomers have to know about gravity?  If you were to ask an astronomer what could be different about a 1360 foot skyscraper built on the Moon versus one built on Earth shouldn't that astronomer be able to provide an intelligent response? So regardless of who was responsible for 9/11 the coming of the 10th birthday of Isaac Newton since 9/11 should be a shame to the physical sciences for this travesty of science.  Dec 25th is Newton's birthday.
